This European meeting begun on the 11th June evening at Bled, with the dinner invitation
from the Minister of Defence Mr. Karl Erjavec. On Thursday, 12th June at 9 o clock at Brdo
pri Kranju begun the round table about small and medium enterprises in the european defence
technological and industrial base. In particular about the impact of enhancing common
european DTIB on the position of small and medium enterprises from all European member
states. Friday the 13th was planed for the industry. The member of European and Slovenian
defence industry could heard about the business chances in Slovenia. Then was organized
a visit on the Institute »Jožef Stefan« and in two Slovenian industrialy productivity organizations,
Fotona and Iskra Systems. The director of AdriaAdvert had an informal meeting with
Mr. Ulf Hammarstrom, the director of EDA (European Defense Agency), Mr. Peter Landberg,
director od Sweeden Security and Defence Industry, Mr. Patrick Moulin, president of SME
Aeronautic, Defence and Security and some Slovenian businessman , interested for a collective
presentation on the project EDTIB.
